JACKS HAUPT NEW RELEASE SOLA
Let us introduce you to an absolute icon, Jacks Haupt aka La divina femenina. If there was ever someone who lived up to their “also known as” identity, it’s definitely Jacks. She gives us such a soulful energy with a dark edge and we never know what to expect next from her. (Except another hit). Jacks Haupt has released “Sola” a fluently spanish heartbreak where she reflects on her own internalizations and the outward look once it’s all said and down. Today we are so excited to share with you guys everything that went into “Sola” by Jacks Haupt from the star herself.
THE HONEY: WHAT IS THE STORY/MESSAGE WITH YOUR SONG “SOLA”? WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION?
JACKS HAUPT: “‘Sola’ is a Mexican regional song that I made along with producer Manny Gomez. This song has a lot of internalized emotions, and it’s a past heartbreak experience that I think a lot of women could relate to. This song explains a lot about the devastating let downs the person you adored would give you. The little signs your close people would tell you about this person, and loving them so much you forget to pay attention to yourself. You don’t pay enough attention towards you, or place any love towards yourself. My message in this song is (even though you’re not here I’ll try my best to live on without you. Even if you’re not here and I feel like I can’t live without you sometimes, I know I can live without you.) I’ve seen a lot of girls lose their wings because of how much love they pour out to the wrong person. This song is dedicated to those that love so hard and so much, to those that don’t get treated so nicely for loving so much. To the girls that don’t see how much they’re worth and how much they can do a lot without being with anyone that doesn’t validate them.Sometimes as artists we need to take the edge off and let everything go. My music is a diary. Sometimes I write stories for others to relate to, sometimes I write personal experiences for myself and release it.”
THE HONEY: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LYRIC OF THE SONG? BREAK IT DOWN FOR US!
JACKS HAUPT: “‘Siempre tengo ganas de tomarme un shot,’
It means ‘I always wanna take a shot.’
In every corrido track there’s always gotta be a line where they pull out the blunts, guns, drinks, or Morrás a.k.a (the girls).
In this case I made it for the girls! I made this song for them to feel powerful, relatable, and sad. For them to feel seen, to let everything out.”
THE HONEY: IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANT TO SHARE ABOUT “SOLA”?
JACKS HAUPT: “STREAM SOLA RIGHT NOW! Don’t forget to also check out my music video, which will be releasing this week! Thank you everyone for supporting my music, I have more!”
