THE HONEY: WHAT IS THE STORY/MESSAGE WITH YOUR SONG “OPEN THE DOOR”? WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION?

RJTHEWEIRDO: “Literally my ex was banging on the door and I was acting like I wasn’t there hoping she would eventually leave. In the midst of all that I thought, ‘this would be a great song’ lol smh.”

 

THE HONEY: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LYRIC OF THE SONG? BREAK IT DOWN FOR US!

RJTHEWEIRDO: “‘You can’t have a normal conversation, you just wanna fuckin’ confrontation, I don’t wanna hear your accusations, cuz I ain’t dis’ none of that u saying.’ That explains the reason I don’t wanna open the door so directly to me.”

RJTHEWEIRDO: “I did this song two years ago, and I’m just excited to get it out of my arsenal. I’m finally learning how to let go of songs and this is a good start.”
