WAIT THAT’S ANT NEW RELEASE MAKE HER DANCE

DFW based artist Wait that’s Ant is giving us MAJOR Sean Kingston vibes with his new release “Make Her Dance,” and if theres one thing we wanna do, it’s dance. Ant shares about his ride-or-die chick and we don’t blame him for making such a bop for her. He wanted a radio-pop song and that’s exactly what he made.

THE HONEY: WHAT IS THE STORY/MESSAGE WITH YOUR SONG? WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION?

ANT: “This song is an anthem. I definitely meant to make a radio-pop type of song; it makes you want to dance/get active whether you a girl or a guy, young or old, if you like rap or if you don’t. It has a pop feel to it as well because I wanted to get all demographics to connect with it. My dream as an artist is to get on the radio at some point in my life, I remember when I first made the hook, ‘she told me that the molly make her dance,’ I was like ‘yea, muthafuckas gone fuck with this fashoo!’ It reminded me of an unforgivable type of vibe and when I recorded it, it just felt like it came from the soul perfectly.”

THE HONEY: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LYRIC OF THE SONG? BREAK IT DOWN FOR US!

ANT: “’She my baby she’ll cry for me, she my lady she’ll die for me.’ Sometimes I make her cry, but at the end of the day that’s my ride or die shawty and she forever got me ;)”

THE HONEY: ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANT TO SHARE ABOUT THIS SONG?

ANT: “This song was in my vault for almost 3 years. I used to think I had to get my clout up and rep to drop songs I thought was good, but if you don’t drop the songs you can never get your clout up! This song has taught me that it is okay to take your time with your work and hold on to things but don’t wait to drop your awesome songs once your blown up , people want to hear growth.”
