TLM NEW RELEASE PEACEFUL CHAOS
TLM caught our attention when he said he wanted his music “to be lived to.” We wanted to get inside his head on his release “Peaceful Chaos,” and share his album for you to vibe and live to. Once you listen to it, you’ll get it.
THE HONEY: WHAT IS THE STORY/MESSAGE WITH YOUR ALBUM? WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION?
TLM: “This album expresses who I am as a person overall. That’s why I named it “Peaceful Chaos”. I can be erratic with no direction but at the same time I can have a clear path with a clear direction. Some of the songs have a story to it; for example, the song ‘Gym Class.'” The inspiration for this album is simply just displaying my production and sound… also lyricism as a full piece. Which, in the end resulted in: ‘Peaceful Chaos.'”
THE HONEY: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SONG ON THE ALBUM?
TLM: “My favorite song off the album as of right now would be “Gym Class”. My favorite changes every month. I’m gravitating to this song right now because it shows my influence in production. You can hear the underlying Pharrell & N.E.R.D. tones that have raised me soundscape wise. The drums are all the way Pharrell. The synths are more N.E.R.D. inspired, I thought I was Chad Hugo laying those chords!”
THE HONEY: IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANT TO SHARE?
TLM: “I just want people to live to it versus just listen to it. Like when you are on the highway driving, at work, cooking food, at the mall or whatever you do as a daily task, just try and live to it. Also, it’s up to the listener to choose whether the project is “deep” or not. Whatever you want it to be it can.”
