LITTLE LIMBO NEW RELEASE LOVE LETTERS

All right, gather ’round, this is an important message; Little Limbo is the one to have on your radar and now. With his newest album release “Love Letters,” he gave us his unique sound that we personally have yet to see in the DFW scene. With a punk influence, Little Limbo gives us an album about love and it’s loaded with attitude. We’re obsessed and needed to know everything about it.

THE HONEY: WHAT IS THE STORY/MESSAGE WITH YOUR ALBUM? WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION?

LITTLE LIMBO: “The goal of this album was to make a project that can be listened to and appreciated for its underlying tones of heartbreak and struggle while also the overlining tone of a hype and fun experience. It can be listened to for someone who’s in love or is hurting and having problems both the same for the most part. Love is a complicated topic and I wanted to hit multiple aspects of it in this project. The inspiration wasn’t from any particular album but I’m a huge Lil Uzi fan, along with Playboi Carti and always wanted to sing and make melodic songs. So, I taught myself and went for it while keeping my own style and sound as well.”

THE HONEY: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SONG ON THE ALBUM? FAVORITE LYRIC? BREAK IT DOWN FOR US!

LITTLE LIMBO: “My favorite changes from day to day but lately my favorite has definitely been ‘Two.’ The original version of this song was actually made over a year ago with my girlfriend before we started dating. ‘Two’ is the second version of it and is definitely the refined and cleanest version of it as well. My favorite lyric is probably “I’m like baby is you ready, made this before we was steady.” Just because it means a lot to me personally and few people really recognize the significance of it.”

THE HONEY: ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANT TO SHARE ABOUT THIS ALBUM?

LITTLE LIMBO: “This album wasn’t easy to make, it took a lot of time and me and my producer went through a lot in life while working on it so when it actually hit the public it was shocking to all of us. I really can’t explain the excitement that was felt. There were days recording where I almost gave up multiple times but with the help of my people beside me we powered through it and I’m so proud of the work we put into this. I really hope everyone who hears it takes a break for a little bit and finds that love can be complicated but it also never fails when it’s true.”
