PEYTON STILLING NEW RELEASE HEALING

Peyton Stilling blew us away with her newest release “Healing.” We knew to expect her beautiful voice to put us in our zen mood per usual but what we didn’t see coming was the beat drop. Stilling showed us such versatility with this release that makes the power of healing seem even more attractive than usual. Her sultry voice mixed with this alluring beat makes for the perfect pairing of white wine and bubbles.

THE HONEY: WHAT IS THE STORY/MESSAGE WITH YOUR SONG? WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION?

PEYTON: “Healing was inspired by heartbreak. This song was written during quarantine. I’d just broken up with my boyfriend and had to move back in with my parents, and I had no money or job. I had all of this time on my hands, but felt no motivation to write anything. The track is a form of self-therapy, helping me come to terms with a difficult situation and simultaneously reminding others in similar circumstances that everything will be ok.”

THE HONEY: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LYRIC OF THE SONG? BREAK IT DOWN FOR US!

PEYTON: “‘One day I’ll get better, Healings hard to measure.’ I love this line because it’s a reminder that healing isn’t black and white. Getting over heartbreak looks different for every single person and you can’t be hard on yourself about it.”

THE HONEY: ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANT TO SHARE ABOUT THIS SONG?

PEYTON: “If there is anything I learned in 2020, it is that healing takes a long time. I hope this song makes other people going through what I went through not feel as alone.”
